My Profile

My name is Maja Kotarska, 18 years old and from Poland, studying in the UK in the Upper Sixth Form in Adcote School in Little Ness. For my A-Levels, I am taking Mathematics, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish. Also, I passed the CMI Level 3 Award in First Line Management. Besides, I can fluently speak in four languages: English, Polish, Spanish and German. I would love to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Oxford.

My interest in politics began after the Brexit referendum in 2016. After that time, I realised there is general chaos in the EU. Therefore, I decided to get involved in politics and follow current affairs as it is decisions made by politicians influence young people. That is also why I decided to continue my education in the UK because I was afraid of my future. I suppose that I am not the only one who is scared of our future, and only politics can make the change.
